About us:
Hello!
We are so excited to have you join us for the Youth Scratch Master's Tour! We are an established 501(c)3, with the mission of offering opportunities for bowlers to learn and compete on various lane conditions. We offer a Baker Doubles Event on Saturdays, where youth bowlers can bowl with a friend or make a new friend, all while earning scholarship money. On Sundays, we offer a competitive bowling format, with four divisions of scratch bowlers, consisting of five (5) games of qualifying, cutting to the top eight (8) per division for match play.
Our current sponsors include 900 Global, Oklahoma State USBC, Oklahoma Bowling Council, Kansas State USBC, & Greater Oklahoma City USBC. We are always looking for opportunities to increase our sponsorships. All money that is donated by sponsors is returned at 100% to the youth bowlers in the form of SMART (scholarship) funds.
We are a family of bowlers who want to help improve and grow the sport of bowling! We are looking forward to getting to know you and your family through the YSMT! In our full-time work, Brianna is a mental health therapist in Norman, OK and Rett works for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Use Services. Brianna serves as Youth Coordinator at Sooner Bowling Center in Norman, OK and Rett is a Board Member for the Oklahoma State USBC and the Oklahoma Bowling Council. Ellie is in the 1st grade, she bowls, is in Girl Scouts and is learning piano! Mark is Brianna's dad, but most importantly Ellie's papaw. Mark works at the University of Oklahoma, is the President of Oklahoma State USBC and on the Oklahoma Bowling Council and is a member of the Oklahoma State Hall of Fame! We love bowling, and we love being able to offer opportunities to youth bowlers to reach educational and bowling goals.
The YSMT does not require a membership, bowl as few or as many events as you want! All Saturday events will be conducted on a house pattern, all Sunday Master's events will be conducted on a sport pattern.
